• North Campus Area : (Williamsville, Amherst, Tonawanda, North Tonawanda, Lockport) clean, safe, rural, must have a car, good for child education
• South Campus Area : (Buffalo, North Buffalo) urban, can survive without a car, good for saving money

Housing

• North Campus Area : 1 bed apt. $360~500, 2 bed apt. $ 550~800 per month.
• South Campus Area : 1 room $180~300

Car

• Used Car Price: $ 2,000 ~ 10,000
• Car Insurance Price : $ 700 ~ 1000 (in the case of singles - more expensive)
• If you are a student who is heading for Ph.D, Buying a new car should be a better way to save your soul.

Public Transportation

• Campus shuttle bus (Blue Bird) links Ellicott Complex (residence facilities), North Campus, and South Campus.
• A subway links South Campus with downtown Buffalo.
• Blue Bird bus links between South and North Campus.

Before Departure

1. Give the details of your exact travel plan in detail to the contact person.
2. Bring cookbook and drill cook skill: there are three Korean stores here.
3. Bring your International Driving License, and you can buy/drive a car immediately.
4. Bring Certificate of Driving Career (no accident, over 3yrs), and you can reduce your Car Insurance Premium.
5. Bring swimming stuff and you can enjoy UB's beautiful pool.

After Arrival

1. Must inform your dept. Representative, Webmaster or any staff of KOGSA of your personal contact information, you can have a bridge to KOGSA.
2. Join any kind of group; alumni, religious group, etc, you can easily settle down, make good friends, get unbelievably great help from them. For example, Korean church does not only function as a religious organization but also function as the center of Korean Community in Buffalo.
