Dear SoFem members and friends,

Together with the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion we will be holding a townhall meeting for all pregnant and parenting students on April 27 from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in 145 Student Union.

At this townhall meeting we hope to hear your concerns, exchange information, and debate solutions so that we can move forward to make UB a more equitable space. We also hope this event will let us build community and support networks for each other. Finally, I hope that those of you who have expressed interest in the past in joining this campaign will be able to attend as well.

Please invite anybody that would be interested in this event and forward to your students, colleagues, list-serves, etc. Faculty and staff are especially welcome to join the discussion!

Attached you will find a poster for the event as well as the SUNY guidance on accommodating pregnant students. Please circulate widely and if you can, print out a couple flyers and distribute them in your departments!
