Job and Career Perspectives for Students in the Computational Sciences

April 14, 2017 @ 9:30 am - 5:00 pm

Computational Science Club is hosting an Annual Symposium on ‘Job and Career Perspectives for Students in the Computational Sciences’, in which we are inviting speakers from industries including Dow Chemical Co., Pfizer, NASA, Schlumberger and HGST. These speakers who did computational work during grad school will talk about their experience of finding jobs in the industry, their transition from academia, and their insights into computational R&D landscape. This workshop will benefit and enhance the job perspectives for students who work in the computational groups here at UB.

Please check our club’s website for our list of events, and please feel free sign-up to become a club member.
