Social Sciences and Humanities Interdisciplinary Symposium

May 12, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

On Friday, May 12th from 4-7pm we will be hosting the 4th annual Interdisciplinary Social Science and Humanities Symposium.  This year it is based on forming collaborative research projects with graduate students on social and environmental issues in the Buffalo region, such as drinking water quality and income inequality in our community.  Dinner will be provided, and there will be a keynote panel consisting of professors from several departments. After the panel, there will be a roundtable session connecting students from different disciplines that have similar research interests.

Graduate students at any stage in the process should definitely come.  Even if you are just thinking through your thesis or dissertation idea, it is never too early to work with other researchers on collaborative projects, or hear about what students in other disciplines are studying.  Plus, the keynote panel will be a great source of information.

Take a look at the description below, and please sign up!  There is just a short google form that you need to fill out to RSVP: http://goo.gl/forms/0Gmmra0SJ8

Let us know if you have any questions (zhasmina@buffalo.edu), and I hope to see you there!
