ABOUT THE PHARMACOLOGY AND TOXICOLOGY GRADUATE STUDENT
Pharmacology and Toxicology Graduate Student Association (Pharm/Tox GSA)
departmental club is open to all graduate level students in the
department. Having been active in the past, the Pharm/Tox Club was
resurrected in the fall of 2010. As a club our two main goals are to
encourage camaraderie among graduate students in the department and to
enhance our development as scientists in our respective fields. In order
to accomplish these goals, the current Pharm/Tox Club has orchestrated
social and community outreach events in addition to our regular
meetings. We also aim to bring in prominent speakers in the fields of
Pharmacology and Toxicology and to organize alumni events in the future.
The Pharm/Tox club seeks to open lines of communication among the
current graduate students, the undergraduate Pharm/Tox Club, alumni,
faculty, and graduate students in other departments in order to enrich
our educational and professional experience.
