Turkish Republic Day

On October 29, 1923, the Republic of Turkey was officially founded by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with a vote held in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The declaration of the status of the nation as a republic has been celebrated every year on October 29 as the Republic Day.

As Turkish students of University at Buffalo, we are proudly celebrating the 93rd year of our nation. We offer our warmest wishes to the people of Turkey as we all celebrate the founding of the Republic of Turkey.

Our event will be held on 11/03/2016 in Student Union:

Welcome to Turkish GSA Website!

Turkish Students Graduate Student Association is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to represent the Turkish Graduate Students at SUNY Buffalo campus. Through social and cultural activities, the Turkish GSA attempts to develop an exchange between Turkish students, non-Turkish students and the community. This website has been designed to announce upcoming events, provide help to new students, keep track of the Turkish students at UB and present some of the past activities.

We recommend the new students or students who are planning on applying to UB to check out the survival page and the activities page for issues like housing, transportation and attractions in the area.

For any questions, you can either contact us or post a message to our facebook group.

Turkish GSA membership and activities are open to people of all ages and cultures.
