Join us Friday and Saturday, April 1-2, 2016 for the annual Milton Plesur Graduate History Conference, “Shifting Identities: Past, Present, and Future.”
On Friday March 11, 14 UB History graduate students joined the Meals on Wheels team to deliver meals to folks all over North Buffalo.
Every service project the GHA takes on is rewarding, and this one was no exception.
It’s such an important organization in WNY. We were all impressed by the MoW system, and the level of knowledge about each delivery that the leaders, John and Lillie, had. Though we 14 were mere interlopers in the delivery system – the other volunteers who came to the distribution site do these deliveries every week, or every day – it was wonderful to be able to give a little back to our Buffalo community.

The 25th Annual Milton Plesur Graduate History Conference is just around the corner: April 1-2! The GHA officers are still looking for volunteers to help manage the panel rooms, work the welcome table, and help set up breakfast and lunch. Be sure to sign up in the Grad Lounge on the posted sign up sheet.
It’s a special year for the conference, the Silver Anniversary! Let’s make it an amazing one.
