Behavior and Brain Sciences Symposium ~ Call for Submissions

May 27, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

The deadline to submit to the 5th Annual BBSS has been extended to Friday, April 29.  If you are still interested in submitting but missed the original deadline we encourage you to do so right away. Late submissions after that date may not be considered. As a reminder, posters and talks that have been presented at other conferences are welcome submissions for BBSS, as are new projects.

We are also pleased to announced that this year’s BBSS will feature a guest colloquium from Richard Ryan from the University at Rochester.  Richard is a distinguished professor of clinical psychology, and is well known for his work on self-determination theory, human motivation, personality development and well-being.  You can learn more about his work here:

This year, the Psychology GSA will again be hosting its annual Behavior and Brain Sciences Symposium, which will take place on May 27th, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

This interdisciplinary symposium will feature empirical research by graduate students on topics broadly related to the brain and behavior. Students from the behavioral, neurological, and social sciences are strongly encouraged to present. The symposium is sponsored by a GSA symposium funding grant, co-sponsored by several clubs, and is open to all graduate students. Free food and open bar will also be available during the event.
